Here I sit, all comfy and warm
As I prepare to update the farm
I think about the work to be done
I think to myself, "This should be fun..."

The servers so far away
Will they reboot
Who's to say?
My only thought is , "This is a hoot..."

With every update I watch the ping
It will restart
It's a sure thing
As time went by, I felt pain in my heart

But the server, it never did restart
Frantically I typed, full of hope
Like an evil black raven,
The reality made me a dope

How would I face ever my boss,
I was at a loss, my thoughts craven
I knew what I had to do, I raced to the door
To think of updating at home? Nevermore.

Can't get hold of me.
Skype status: 'Away'.
Not answering the phone,
Or in the office today.

A server rebooted,
But didn't come back
And my colleagues are pissed
As they pick up my slack.

I sit with my beer,
To the pub I did roam.
What am I doing?
I'm 'working from home'.
