Role: PHP Development Team Lead

Location: Blackrock – Dublin

A global payments platform provider is looking for a Development Team lead to join their team due to continued success of the business. Their product has seen constant growth over the last number of years and they are a leading provider in their sector, working closely with some of the largest financial/payments organizations in the world.

You will have the opportunity to be involved in both the management of the team, both front and back end, but also to be very hands-on, with an expectation to code too. You will be leading 8 developers, so being able to code and show leadership skills are essential. As part of your role, you will work closely with other areas of the business such as Product and Project Management. You will possess a high level of understanding of commonly used concepts, practices and procedures, and illustrate these through your excellent communication skills.

Development Team Lead Qualifications & Experience:

Required:

• BSc Computer Science or relevant degree

• 8-10 years of related experience, having focused mainly on PHP while working with the Zend framework

• Extensive experience working with technologies such as MySQL, Doctrine, JavaScript, CSS, HTML, SOAP and REST

• Experience developing and testing multi tier systems, whilst working in an Agile environment

Desirable:

• Experience in the financial/mobile payments industry a definite benefit

Salary:

• €60,000 - €75,000 per annum

@bazingaxl: to zależy co to są za roboty związane z matmą. Jeśli typowo naukowe to nic dziwnego, że wymagają tytułu - głupio by było, gdyby przy pracach naukowych pracowali samoucy.

Natomiast w kwestii programowania tytuł to dodatek, liczą się tylko umiejętności i często osoby bez wykształcenia piszą lepsze programy i algorytmy niż osoby z wykształceniem.
