How can this be if IQ is merely a measure of "test-taking ability?"

What is the theoretical basis to believe that being good at tests is associated with much lower rates of divorce?

We have already ruled out that this indexes effects of education, income, and status.

On the other hand, if the Wechsler measures intelligence, or some cognitive-behavioral trait beyond mere "test-taking," we have a very good explanation for why Weschler scores predict divorce.
