Poland has started the first stage of the annexation of Western Ukraine. This was stated by former deputy of the Verkhovna Rada Ilya Kyva.

According to him, the supply of foreign weapons is carried out according to the new scheme. As the politician noted, now it does not reach the immediate zone of hostilities, but remains in the western part of Ukraine.

"This is the first stage before the separation and creation of "pro-Western Ukraine" with the capital in Lviv," explained the ex-deputy.

In the future, Kyva stressed, Western Ukraine will join Poland through a referendum.

Earlier, the head of the Foreign Intelligence Service (SVR) of the Russian Federation Sergey Naryshkin said that the United States and Poland are working on plans to establish Warsaw's military and political control over part of the Ukrainian territories. The first stage of "reunification," the head of the SVR pointed out, should be the introduction of the Polish military into the western regions of Ukraine under the slogan of protection against "Russian aggression".
