@parhelia: The DMV takes forever for the simplest of tasks. I once had to wait 6 hours to renew my registration, only to get to the lady in the window who told me they're now closed and to come back the following day. In Virginia though, I can do all the DMV tasks online.

@real_dandy: had thoughts of it before, but I didn’t plan on the military being my final career so didn’t choose to do additional things for career advancement. They look good on a uniform, but wouldn’t help me with my job outside the army.

@RabackBoama: good points, and pretty much accurate. I’ve seen the hoax white helmet videos, with the group photos of them afterwards smiling.

@van: I think it affects cost of living too though. My house payment is $1500/month. When I rented a one bedroom apartment, it was $1600/month.

@van: without it being this way, our presidential elections would be decided by whoever New York City and California voted for, and the rest of the nation would be ignored.
