The U.S. Army awarded Palantir an $85 million contract to “to support its prognostic and predictive maintenance and supply chain optimization efforts.” The Army Materiel Command will “utilize Palantir's software to support logistics in contested environments, improve equipment reliability, and advance supply chain optimization.”
Meanwhile, Rolls-Royce has built a 26,000-square-foot factory in Pascagoula, Mississippi, to make propellers and propulsor components. The factory is equipped with foundry and machining equipment purchased with a $22 million Defense Production Act grant.
