- Some people say that those living without a religion are communists, and those religious are crazy.

- To answer that we need to define what here religion means. Religion, as the word implies, a reconnection to powers, forces, laws, that exceed human capability. There one can even speak of an atheistic religion, like Buddhism which knows no God, but nonetheless, is a religion that contains a bond in itself.

I would therefore say, that people also, like the communists, for example, have a religion: namely, they believe in science. They believe absoletely in modern science. And this unconditional belief, that is, trust in the security of scientific results, is faith, and is, in a sense, something that goes beyond the individual person, and hence is a religion.
