Mireczky, jutro muszę oddać list formalny na angielski. Czy jakiś znawca językowy mógłby mi powiedzieć co sądzi o moim liście formalnym? Czy są jakieś błędy i czy tekst ogólnie jest zrozumiały.

Dear Mayor John Smith

I am writing in connection with your plans about bulding a new multilevel parking in our city. Now near Marszałkowska Street there are park, pond and neglected playground for children. Park is being used for jogging and it is perfect place to rest from noise. I think it is a pointless idea. People from our city need this green area. Our city has better places for investments like this. Instead of building the parking authority should renew playground and clean unappealing pond. If someone will take care of this place the local people would be more satisfied. Additionally, I would like to mention that next to this place there is a kindergarten. Children should not use old and unsafe equipment which has abandoned playground.

I would be most grateful if you would look into this matter as soon as possible.

Yours faithfully,

XYZ

@uncatchble:

Nie jestem "znawcą językowym".
Jeżeli chodzi o sam tekst, to jest zrozumiały. Popraw lepiej drugie zdania na coś typu "There are park, pond and neglected playground for children near Marszałkowska Street now.". Nie jestem pewien, ale tak szyk lepiej wygląda.

No i skoro to na angielski, to słownictwo typu "in my opinion", "I think" itp. ;)
