Imho, best thing you can buy is "Świat Wiedzy" popular science magazine which is written really nicely and in simple manner.

@Piastan: that seems like a reasonable idea, however birth rate of syrians are very high (1.9 for turks whereas 5 for syrians) and they are huge in numbers. also syrians make up the majority on some districts. considering these factors make assimilation a harder process.
