@LP2137: If you steal from too many people in Ostagar, you may also get to hear a soldier with some degree of seniority complain to Duncan about this, especially if you have attempted to steal from Duncan himself and failed, though he will make excuses to the soldier on your behalf, perhaps as a result of his own past.
