Societé Generale: after building up a very big net long #usd position in the first half of 2024, we saw a huge swing to a big short by the start of Sep, & we are now three quarters of the way back to the peak. Presumably, the last few days saw that grow a little more

ING bank :another large move higher in $USDJPY would probably need to follow a hawkish repricing in the USD curve. #powell’s latest comments may be helping such repricing in the coming weeks, meaning the #jpy correction can extend to 150.
