Geologist Ian Plimer says the net zero agenda is “economically and technologically Utopian”.

Mr Plimer sat with Sky News host Liz Storer to discuss the COP28 meeting which occurred in Dubai, where Climate Change and Energy Minister Chris Bowen met with other politicians from across the world to discuss the climate crisis.

“It’s been like that for a very long time, and the chickens are coming home,” Mr Plimer said.

“At COP, we’ve had 28 of these, I don’t see, if we’d a major problem, where they couldn’t have told this in two or three meetings.

“But it seems the massive jaunt for people to go there in private jets and eat meat and have a great time with all their mates, and ‘see you later we’ll see you next year’.”
