The ultimate Spitfire simulator (based on Mk9). An incredibly rare opportunity to purchase such a unique and special simulator. Designed and built from scratch using CAD from actual laser-scanned aircraft data from a Spitfire Mk9 plane.

After almost one whole year of construction, this 1:1 scale Spitfire cockpit simulator is complete. No expense has been spared and nothing like this will be available on the open market again. It is truly a one-off.

Key features:

· Unique modular construction, consisting of 3 individual ‘pods’, which fit through the average sized domestic door frame and reassemble to create a full-scale fuselage replica in any room, measuring just under 2m from front windshield to rear of simulator when assembled. A picture is included showing the 3 pods prior to joining. The rear pod is 560mm long and the middle/front pods are each 670mm long.

· Full metal outer skin with laser-cut acrylic window panels.

· Laser-cut metal instrument panel with functioning six-pack analogue gauge displays, which communicate with DCS software to give real-time flight system information.

· Unique rudder pedal and spade grip system designed to emulate the real workings of a Spitfire.

· 2.1 Speaker and subwoofer surround sound for replicating the authentic roar of the beautiful Merlin engine.

· Feel the rumble of the gravel as you take off and the clunk of the landing gear closing beneath you thanks to a fully integrated ‘Buttkicker – Gamer 2’ tactile feedback system, mounted underneath the pilot's seat.

· Fully working switch/lever interfaces to create corresponding actions within DCS, including: pitch, roll, rudder, throttle, mixture, parking brake, machine gun/cannons, radiator flap, navigation lights, main fuel tank, fuel pump, chassis lever (with illuminated dashboard indicators), start button, coil boost & magnetos. NOTE: This allows for a full, 10-stage start-up sequence to be completed from cold and dark, within the simulator and without having to use a mouse or keyboard. Once the engine starts, the integrated ‘Buttkicker – Gamer 2’ provides very powerful haptic feedback to the pilot’s seat. This, accompanied by the surround sound and subwoofer help to create one of the most realistic feeling and sounding start-up sequences outside of a real aircraft.

· Push-button soundboard. From within the cockpit two buttons can be pressed. One will sound an air raid siren and the other will play Churchill's famous 'we will fight them on the beaches' speech. Imagine taxiing down a grass runway, under a moonlit sky, with the merlin growling, air raid siren in the background and Churchill's words of encouragement as you take off towards your next dogfight.

· External visual system using 3 x 65” screens with integrated pod ceiling for the ultimate in immersion.

· All powered by a state-of-the-art, high-performance gaming PC, with an RTX 3080 graphics card, 32gb of ram and an i7 12700k CPU for beautifully rendered graphics and extra high framerates.

· Designed to be plug and play and user friendly. Go from a cold start PC to flying over the white cliffs of Dover and engaging in a fully immersive dogfight within less than 5 minutes and only a few clicks.

Na grupce z ludźmi budującymi kokpity F-16 widziałem ostatnio fajny projekt z kolimowanym hudem do falcona BMS
