Louis de Mieulle born and raised in Paris, France, bassist/composer Louis de Mieulle started his musical education at 7, playing the cello. After switching to the bass guitar, he eventually graduated from the National Conservatory of Paris (classical writing), the American School (jazz), and then the Berklee College of Music.

Mathias Eick was born on June 26 1979. His main instrument is trumpet, but he also plays double bass, vibraphone, piano and guitar. He grew up close to a small village called Eidsfoss (Vestfold, Norway) in a very musical family. Mathias Eick has performed with several well-known music groups and musicians, e.g. Jaga Jazzist, Thomas Dybdahl and "Trondheim Jazz Orchestra" together with Chick Corea and Pat Metheny.
