@suqmadiq2ama: jeszcze jest ciekawe w marynarskim kontekście "there will be devil to pay". całe życie rozumiałem to dosłownie, że trzeba będzie diabłu zapłacić, czyli że dużo, że duże konsekwencje. a powiedzenie w całości to "there will be devil to pay and no pitch hot", gdzie devil to część za burta statku blisko wody. pitch hot to gorąca smola a pay to uszczelnianie tą smoła tej części za burtą. czyli gowniana robota
